Marriage by God, counseling non-profit

"We felt our website was in need of some updating so we contacted Nick Macedo [of Create Beast]. Before beginning the work, he sent us a questionnaire that helped us clarify what we were hoping to do with the website. Nick captured our vision perfectly! He gave our website a fresh updated feel. He took the wordiness of our previous website and masterfully rewrote the content in a more concise way without losing any of the meaning. He truly captured the heart of our business in the fun attractive photos he chose. The navigation through the website is easier than ever. He always gave accurate deadlines for completing each stage of the design. I would highly recommend Nick [of Create Beast] for all of your website needs."

Marriage by God's (MbG) original website had been designed progressively over a number of years to meet an expanding variety of services that MbG offered– counseling, online resources, video, and a growing team. The result was a site that had some really good qualities but need a clear, unifying design in order to clearly communicate MbG's offerings and an aesthetic that would appeal to their diverse target audience.

We laid out a plan that would help drive couples– both newly engaged and currently married– towards custom designs surveys that MbG would use to start their counseling process and pair their clients up with mentor couples. This became the main focus of the site. The second purpose was to expose site visitors to book resources offered by MbG. And lastly, we curated a custom photo library and extended branding through fonts and color schemes that brought unity to the site's aesthetic and appealed to their diverse target audience– couples of all ages and backgrounds, local to Southern California, looking for some sort of relationship based counseling. The key to bringing all these things together was a consolidated site navigation that made moving through the site intuitive and attractive. The result was a newly formed tool that MbG was able to use as a part of their counseling process, not only to obtain new clients but also in receiving feedback from clients and their mentors once counseling was finished.
